About Our Founder
Santos Ochoa
Founder of Ochoa & Associates Ltd.

Santos Ochoa is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with dual degrees in Accounting and Information Business Systems from the University of Illinois at Chicago. With over 15 years of experience working with Fortune 500 companies, Santos brings a wealth of knowledge to his role as a tax and accounting specialist for small businesses. His goal is to be recognized as the top CPA for small enterprises.
In 2007, Santos identified a need for a Spanish-speaking local CPA and founded Ochoa & Associates Ltd. The firm quickly grew under his leadership and is now one of the largest and fastest-growing Latino-owned CPA firms in Illinois. Santos' proactive approach to business, a departure from the typically conservative CPA demeanor, is part of what sets him apart.
Beyond his accounting work, Santos is a real estate broker in Florida, specializing in AIRBNB properties and property development. He was also a licensed loan officer and recently acquired his property & casualty insurance broker license. His diverse background allows him to provide valuable insights and resources to his small business clients.
Coming from humble beginnings, Santos now lives in Campton Hills, with his wife Ilsia and son Gavin. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and when not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, staying active, and playing golf and basketball.
